Mood Board Workshop

In January, we hosted our first Mood Board Workshop. The name is changing, because it wasn’t about pretty collages, it was about confidence. Guests arrived frustrated with their spaces and unsure where to begin. They left with clarity, direction, and a tangible vision for their homes. Watching that shift is why I do this. Design should remove anxiety, not create it. Clients brought photos of their spaces, shared how they live, and worked hands-on with layouts, fabrics, paint swatches, wallpapers, rug samples, and finishes from our Design Center. By the end, they weren’t just inspired, they felt empowered.

Creating a mood board helps uncover a client’s personal style. I draw inspiration from coffee table books, art, hotels, people-watching and fashion. I observe how someone layers an outfit, mixes textures, or carries themselves with confidence. Those same principles translate beautifully into interiors. A room, much like an outfit, should feel true to the person who occupies it. I encourage slowing down. Allow your mind to wander and your home to evolve. In my own home, every accessory is something I truly love. Whether it’s new, an antique from an estate sale, a family piece, or a gift, it’s a collection built over at least 20 years. As you collect images, fabrics, colors, and meaningful objects over time, patterns begin to emerge. That’s your style taking shape.

We’re bringing the workshop back this spring. If you’ve been waiting for a sign to start your home project, this is it. Make sure you’re signed up for our emails to be the first to know when the date is announced.
